Dear Colleague,

It is an honour and a pleasure to welcome you to the 1st Ovarian cancer action International Conference, which will be held from 7-8 March 2008 in London.

We intend this meeting to be a scientifically high profile meeting, bringing together the most interesting and timely ideas for understanding, to ultimately defeating ovarian cancer.

With this meeting we intend to provide a forum to express scientific advances in fundamental biology, diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. A principal focus of the meeting will be to gain clearer understanding of the role of existing and new therapies in ovarian cancer to facilitate the knowledge transfer from fundamental and applied basic research to clinical investigation and clinical practice.

This inaugural conference will be held in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in London. With renowned scientists and clinicians on the program, it is therefore my pleasure, on behalf of the Scientific Committee, to invite you to be part of this conference.

This conference is specifically designed for all medical specialists involved in research and treatment of ovarian cancer.
