Target Audience

This educational activity is designed for hematologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals involved and/or interested in the management of patients with multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, attendees should be able to:
  • Describe the unique pathophysiology of myeloma, emphasizing how this impacts treatment decisions for multiple myeloma
  • Compare and contrast induction therapy regimens for use in newly diagnosed patients with multiple myeloma
  • Discuss the rationale for using bone-targeted therapies in combination with other treatment modalities for the management of multiple myeloma
  • Analyze clinical trial data regarding emerging options for maintenance therapy in myeloma
  • Evaluate treatment options for patients with relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, with an emphasis on the need for individualization of therapy
