 Learning Objectives | Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate the efficacy and safety of front-line treatment options for chronic myelogenous leukemia, and explain how to integrate optimal treatments into clinical practice
- Discuss emerging second-line treatment options for chronic myelogenous leukemia, and assess the impact of results from recent clinical trials on clinical practice
- Describe current diagnostic criteria and risk-stratification methods for the Philadelphia chromosome–negative myeloproliferative neoplasms and the implementation of these strategies into clinical practice
- Evaluate recent clinical trial data regarding therapeutic advances in the management of patients with Philadelphia chromosome–negative myeloproliferative neoplasms, and assess the practical implications of these data
