In 2008, NCCN held its first program in Al Ain, UAE with more than 400 attendees. In 2009, with support in part from the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), NCCN will expand the program to a 3 day activity with anticipation of more than 750 participants. Regional panels in respective tumor types will convene prior to the Congress and bring with them proposed modifications to the NCCN Guidelines. These will be addressed during the breakout sessions. Participants will have developed the regional version at the end of the session. In addition, the collection of guidelines modifications will be published as a monograph in the JNCCN –The Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network.
