Target Audience
This educational activity is designed for medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other healthcare providers involved and/or interested in the care of patients with breast cancer.
Overview
This CME-certified interview discusses recently released data from the 2011 Annual Breast Cancer Meeting in San Antonio on various aspects of the management of patients with breast cancer.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
  • Summarize the most recent clinical trial data regarding novel therapeutic options for the management of breast cancer, and outline best strategies for the integration of these therapies into clinical practice
  • Compare and contrast the efficacy and tolerability of various therapies and therapeutic combinations available for the treatment of breast cancer
  • Interpret and integrate recent clinical trial data into improved patient management strategies
