Target Audience

Practical Approaches to Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Management in the Era of Personalized Therapy is specifically designed for medical oncologists and other healthcare professionals involved and/or interested in the management of patients with lung cancer.

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

 • Define the clinical, histologic, and molecular factors that guide clinicians in selecting therapy for patients with NSCLC 

 • Outline appropriate treatment regimens for patients with NSCLC, focusing on how best to tailor therapeutic choices to patient characteristics such as tissue histology, presence or absence of molecular markers, and comorbidities

 • Analyze available and emerging treatment options in advanced NSCLC, including maintenance therapy and second-line therapy and beyond

 • Identify areas of uncertainty or controversy requiring further clarification regarding the use of patient and disease characteristics as guides for treatment selection at various stages of disease progression in the management of NSCLC
