 Learning Objectives for Participants | Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify both the current and emerging roles of gene expression profiles in treatment planning for patients with breast cancer
- Assess the utility of bone-targeted agents in the adjuvant treatment of breast cancer
- Discuss clinical challenges in the management of triple-negative breast cancer, and review recent advances in this setting
- Evaluate strategies to overcome chemotherapy resistance in patients with metastatic breast cancer, and select therapeutic agents for use in this patient population
- Describe recent clinical trials evaluating emerging and currently available targeted therapies for patients with HER2-positive breast cancer
