Overview
This brief case discussion examines the induction therapy options available for treating elderly patients with multiple myeloma.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- • Discuss the benefits of using maintenance therapy to treat patients with multiple myeloma after autologous stem cell transplantation
- • Review current and emerging induction therapy options for elderly patients with multiple myeloma
- • Discuss induction treatment strategies that maximize efficacy with minimal toxicity

A statement of credit will be issued only upon receipt of a completed activity evaluation form and a completed post-test with a score of 70% or better.
