These slides are regarding recently released data from the 2010 Oncology Annual Meeting in Chicago, focusing on various aspects of the management of patients with cancer. |
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss clinically relevant advancements in the management of breast cancer in both the early and metastatic settings
- Describe recent advances in the treatment of melanoma, and evaluate clinical trial data supporting the use of targeted agents in this setting
- Explain novel treatment strategies used in the management of patients with genitourinary malignancies
- Evaluate contemporary therapeutic approaches for the management of patients with gynecologic malignancies, and review the latest advances in improving survival rates and quality of life in this patient population
- Recommend state-of-the-art treatment strategies for patients with hematologic malignancies
