Learning Objectives

- Discuss the utility of targeted therapies for soft tissue sarcoma and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST)
- Explain the rationale for identifying predictive markers for targeted therapies in sarcoma
- Analyze recent data regarding predictive markers for response to sarcoma therapy, with a focus on how these data might be utilized to guide therapy selection in clinical practice
