Target Audience

This educational activity is specifically designed for medical and surgical oncologists, urologists, radiologists, and other healthcare providers interested and/or involved in the treatment of patients with prostate cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity participants should be able to:
  • Identify areas of unmet need in the treatment of patients with advanced prostate cancer
  • Evaluate newly approved therapies for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer and how to effectively incorporate these agents into the standard of care
  • Examine the rationale, efficacy, and safety of novel therapies under investigation for advanced prostate cancer, including emerging targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and chemotherapeutic agents
  • Discuss the importance of multidisciplinary treatment strategies in the care of patients with advanced prostate cancer
