Overview
These interviews discuss recently released data from the 2011 Annual Hematology Meeting in San Diego, focusing on various aspects of the management of patients with hematologic malignancies. |
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

Discuss the most recent clinical trial data regarding treatment of patients with hematologic malignancies such as leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myeloproliferative neoplasms

Describe emerging therapies and novel treatment strategies for patients with hematologic malignancies, and evaluate the practical utility of novel agents based on data from recent clinical studies

Examine the use of molecular markers and patient characteristics to guide the therapeutic decision-making process in patients with hematologic malignancies

Evaluate difficult or unusual problems encountered by the practicing hematologist/oncologist, and identify appropriate management options based on emerging data
