Meeting Overview | We are pleased to invite you to our St Gallen Satellite Symposium titled ”Unsolved Puzzles in Early Breast Cancer,” to be held on 18 March 2011 in St Gallen, Switzerland.
During this interactive meeting, leaders in the field will discuss clinical issues in early breast cancer. |
Location | Olma Messen
Sankt Jakob-Strasse 94
9000 St Gallen, Schweiz
Main Auditorium Hall |
Target Audience | This educational activity is designed for medical oncologists and other healthcare providers involved and/or interested in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. |
Learning Objectives | Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
- Evaluate complete pathologic remission (pCR) as a potential endpoint for clinical trials and how pCR data from these trials might be incorporated into clinical practice
- Review recent clinical trial data regarding combined targeted therapies (dual blockade of HER2) for the management of HER2-positive breast cancer, and discuss the potential of this approach in future treatment of early breast cancer
- Define biosimilar medicines and identify potential advantages and disadvantages of biosimilar monoclonal antibodies
- Explain how discordant pathology results upon disease progression might impact therapy choice
