Dasatinib 100 mg Once Daily as Second-Line Therapy in Chronic-Phase Chronic Myeloid Leukemia

This independent medical education activity features an expert interview with Neil Shah, MD, PhD, focusing on important data from a recent publication in which results of a randomized, phase III study investigating dasatinib once daily as second-line therapy for chronic-phase CML were reported (Shah NP, Kim D-W, Kantarjian H, et al. Haematologica. 2010;95(2):232-240.).    

Dr Shah briefly discusses the rationale for the phase III clinical trial reported in this publication, as well as the effect of dasatinib once daily dosing on efficacy and tolerability.
