This educational activity is designed for urologists, medical oncologists, urology and oncology specialist nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with RCC.

After successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe recent findings from clinical trials investigating targeted therapies and immune checkpoint inhibitors either as single agents or in combination for locally advanced and metastatic RCC
  • Identify the subgroups of patients with metastatic RCC best treated in the first-line setting by tyrosine kinase inhibitors or immunotherapy agents or a combination of the two
  • Define a clinical algorithm to aid the selection and sequencing of available options for the treatment of metastatic RCC
